About DSC
Djibouti Shipping Company FZE (DSC), as part of Great Horn Investment Holding S.A.S (GHIH), was createded in 2017 with the aim of meeting the growing needs for shipping solutions on the coasts of East Africa, from the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea, the Red Sea to the Mediterranean. Its mission is to provide safe, reliable and efficient maritime transportation services.
Its establishment will no doubt contribute to strengthen Djibouti’s geo-strategic position as a regional gateway and hub for the liner industry. The aim is to facilitate trade for markets in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
From its beginnings, DSC aimed to transform Djibouti into a dynamic maritime hub with the ambition of facilitating trade for markets in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
With a rapidly expanding logistics network, DSC has rapidly developed its own fleet and infrastructure to effectively manage sea freight operations. DSC owned a container ship (AFRICA SUN) and expecting to acquire a second vessel in short term.
